About
ToolNova is an online tools platform built to make file conversion and editing workflows faster, easier and more accessible.

What is ToolNova?
ToolNova lets you convert, compress, merge, split and perform similar operations on PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and image files directly in your browser.
Our goal is to provide frequently used file tools in one simple and easy-to-use platform instead of making users search for separate software for every task.
Who builds it and why?
Mert BİLGİN
ToolNova is an independent project that Mert BİLGİN began developing in July 2026. It started from a practical goal: bring common file tasks into one consistent tool center with clear explanations instead of sending users across unrelated websites.
What do we care about?
Speed
We aim to make file operations as fast and straightforward as possible.
Ease of use
We build clear and simple tools instead of complicated settings.
Security
We use secure connection technologies during file transfer and site usage.
Continuous improvement
We continue to add new tools and features to ToolNova.
How are files processed?
ToolNova does not use one processing method for every tool. JPG, PNG and selected media conversions can run on the device in supported browsers. Tools that need dedicated engines—such as OCR, Office, selected PDF workflows, camera RAW decoding and AI transcription—send the file to the ToolNova server over HTTPS.
Each tool page is intended to state its actual processing method and core limitations. Current server conversion services are designed to clean temporary workspaces after processing; for sensitive files, you should still follow your organization’s data policy.
Pre-release testing and corrections
A tool is not considered complete merely because its page opens. We use real sample files to check input acceptance, output type, downloads, error messages and processing disclosure. The most recent full functional check on September 8, 2026 exercised 40 active tools with real inputs. On September 18, 2026, the current 54-tool catalog and 136 public URLs across both languages were audited for technical SEO and availability; all 136 URLs returned HTTP 200.
Our content principles
Tool explanations are written against actual product behavior, including format limitations and checks users should perform after conversion. Guide content is based on ToolNova development and testing experience. When behavior changes, we update the relevant page and dated product record.
